On Tap: Beers from
Eagle Rock Brewing & Island Brewing
The forecast for this weekend is calling for temperatures in the 90’s, possibly even touching the triple-digit mark! To help balance out the heat we have some lighter selections on tap for you — in addition to our air conditioner! Come in, escape the heat, play some pool, and have a pint or two!
Island Blonde: A Kolsch Ale from Island Brewing
Kolsch beers originated in Cologne, Germany, and are traditionally less hoppy than other German pale lagers. They are clean and crisp on the palate and are very smooth and crisp. Island Blonde is an excellent example of the style, and at 4.8% ABV it’s easy to enjoy the refreshing blend of well balanced malt and hops again and again.
Located in Carpenteria, Island Brewing is family run and has been brewing since 2001. They’ve won awards for their beers at both state and national levels, including at the Great American Beer Festival, World Beer Championships, World Beer Cup, and many more!

Manifesto: Belgian Wit from Eagle Rock Brewing
Witbier is a 400-year-old style that died out in the 1950’s when the last witbier brewery closed its doors. But, in the late 1960’s the style was revived, using the traditional ingredients of water, yeast, hops, coriander, and orange peel. Eagle Rock has continued that tradition of the style, with their own addition of rose petals! Subtly sweet, light body, and a slight tart finish combine for a crisp and refreshing beverage! ABV: 5.7% IBU: 11
