IPA Day Logo#IPAday — Thursday, August 1st

On Thursday, August 1st, join craft beer enthusiasts, breweries and bars across the globe in a collective toast to one of craft beer’s most iconic styles: the India Pale Ale. Here at the Couch, we’ve chosen some delicious IPAs to tap for starting Thursday, as well as some great bottled IPAs!

IPA Day was created in 2011, not by corporate breweries or big marketing machines, but by those that love and revel in craft beer and all the joy and camaraderie that it brings! Whether you’re a brewer, a craft beer fanatic, or just a casual fan, it’s a day for everyone to come together, raise a glass, and give a cheer to craft beer, and on this day specifically, the IPA style.

Why celebrate the IPA?
To quote Ashley Routson, aka The Beer Wench and one of the founders of #IPAday:

This illustrious style represents the pinnacle of brewing innovation with its broad spectrum of diverse brands, subcategories and regional flavor variations—making it the perfect style to galvanize craft beer’s social voice.

On Thursday, August 1st, join us here at Darryl’s Couch as we pour several IPAs especially for the occasion!
