This past week has been a busy one, and the weekend ahead looks like it will be the same. I didn’t get the chance to do as much posting as I normally do, so I’m sorry if you’ve been left out. We have a lot going on over the next few days and if you’re like me and didn’t get to make it out to the Great American Beer Fest in Denver, I want you to be able to share in all the events we have going on here!

Scratch Food Truck — 6:00 – 9:00
Chef Tim Kilcoyne returns tonight to Darryl’s Couch with his food truck, Scratch. Previously chef & owner of the Sidecar Restaurant in Ventura, Tim Kilcoyne has taken his culinary skills to the road, allowing him to bring his selections of New American Food to the people.

Using only fresh ingredients from local farms, some of Tim’s creations have included: a home-made Porkstrami sandwich; a Smoked Pork PB&J sandwich featuring smoked pork, chipotle peanut butter, jalapeño jam & white cheddar; local Seabass Tacos; Burgers made from freshly ground grass-fed beef from Paso Robles; Smoked Lengua Poutine; Street Corn; and much more!

James Del — 8:00 – 11:00
Singer/songwriter James Del returns for a night filled with acoustic music and entertainment! Coming to Camarillo via Ireland, James has been performing live for years and released his 1st EP in December 2012. Join us for a night full of great beers, live music, and good friends; whether or not you bring them with you, you’ll make some while you’re here!

You can find out more about  James on his Facebook page, and listen to his music on his Soundcloud page.

Erin’s Going Away
If you’re a longtime visitor here, even before it became Darryl’s Couch, you probably remember our bartender Erin. She’s moving out of state and tonight is her going away event here at the Couch! Stop by to say HI…and farewell.
