Mystery Beer Revealed

Described by the brewery as a IRA — but officially an American Red Ale (BJCP category 10B) — yesterday’s Mystery Beer was first tapped here earlier this year when it made its debut on the craft beer scene. Many of you let us know you enjoyed it and were sad when the keg emptied, so we took the opportunity to grab one of the last kegs available for this beer from Ninkasi Brewing’s Special Release series: Dawn Of The Red.

An IRA bursting with notes of mango, papaya and pineapple, this beer finishes juicy with a subtle malty backbone. It doesn’t take brains to know hoppy, tropical IRAs are a great way to welcome warmer months ahead!

Tasting Notes:

Mango, papaya, pineapple and stone fruit notes burst out with bitterness upfront. Sustained by a subtle malt-flavor, this beer finishes smooth, leaving one ready for the next sip of this flavortastic beer!

Visit the Dawn Of The Red webpage on the Ninkasi Brewing website for more information about this brew. And be sure to stop in for a pint before it’s gone until it’s next release!
