Mystery Beer for August 19th Revealed
Avery Brewing Co. in Boulder, CO makes many great beers. Previously, we’ve enjoyed their Ellie’s Brown Ale on tap here and this week we’ve brought in another tasty beverage from their beer lineup: White Rascal.
From the White Rascal webpage:
Beer Style: Belgian WheatHop Variety: Bravo, Sterling, Hersbrucker
Malt Variety: Two-row barley, Wheat
Color: Cloudy white
A truly authentic Belgian style wheat or “white” ale, this Rascal is unfiltered (yup, that’s yeast on the bottom) and cleverly spiced with coriander and Curaçao orange peel producing a refreshingly zesty classic ale.
Be sure to stop in to visit us for a pint of White Rascal — or a 1/2 pint, or 6oz, or a pitcher with your friends — before it’s gone!
What’s a Mystery Beer?
Each Tuesday we’ll tap a beer, let you know the style, the approximate Alcohol By Volume (ABV) and International Bittering Units (IBU), and we’ll sell it at a special reduced price. What’s the catch? We won’t tell you the name of the beer or who brews it! You’ll have to wait until the next day to see the update on to our website, Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram!
Come by on Tuesdays and enjoy the mystery!!
