Mystery Beer for August 26th Revealed

Wipe Out IPA logoThe lesson from yesterday is simple: Put a Mystery Beer on tap, let everyone know it’s a West Coast IPA from San Diego and they come running. (No actual running involved.) That’s what happened yesterday, and now the keg is less than 1/2 full! What was this tasty IPA that everyone seemed to enjoy, many of you more than once?

WIPEOUT IPA from Port Brewing in San Marcos, CA (North County San Diego)

From the WIPEOUT IPA webpage:

Brewed to celebrate anyone and everyone who has ever paddled out into the best wave of the day, only to blow it and Wipeout in a blaze of glory.
Our version of a West Coast Style IPA brewed with a measure of heavy handed San Diego dry-hopping resulting in an aroma bursting with fresh hop notes including Apricots and citrus rinds. A crisp, dry and very refreshing IPA with resonating hop character and a finish of grassy hop notes.
Hops: AMARILLO, CENTENNIAL, SIMCOE
Original Gravity: 1.065
ABV: 7%
Availability: YEAR ROUND

If yesterday was any indication, this brew won’t be around long! Hurry in to grab a pint, or enjoy it in an IPA flight with 3 of our other 4 IPAs currently on tap!
