It’s New Brew Thursday!
Every Thursday, to help introduce a new brew at the pub, and in homage to the New Brew Thursday podcast, and so that you can work on your Untappd New Brew Thursday badge (which now maxes at level 50), we bring at least one new beer to our bottle line-up. This week we have 2 new bottles, 2 brews returning to the pub via bottles, and a new brew on tap.
This week we’re adding 4 new bottles. A couple are returning brews that have been on tap here in the past and because you loved them so much we decided to have them on-hand in bottles for when you want to revisit them. The other two are new beers at the pub but are from breweries we’ve come to love.
Groundwork Coffee Porter from Smog City – Coffee infused porter
Peanut Butter Milk Stout from Belching Beaver – the name says it all
Mash from The Bruery – Bourbon Barrel-aged Barleywine
Four Seasons Winter from Mother Earth – Bourbon Barrel-aged Olde Ale
Check our bottle line-up for all their specs!
New On Tap
We just emptied the keg of Stone Farms Fresh Hop Ale which was brewed at Stone’s Liberty Station location in Point Loma where they’re creating special brews not brewed at Stone’s main brewery. With that keg gone we have one more from Liberty Station to bring on board: Buoy 1 SD Pale Ale. Named for the 1st buoy seen when you’re entering San Diego Harbor, this is a single-malt double-hop beer. The Belma hops present a sort of strawberry/grape jam flavor and the calypso hops bring about a dank apple character, both balanced out by the bready notes of the pale malt. Come in and try this limited edition brew today!
