While our biggest event of the day having Milk Stout Nitro from Left Hand Brewing tapped for the first time in California (see our previous post for details), we’ve been getting several questions about other events occurring today, Saturday May 2nd. Here’s the answers to the most frequently received ones.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Will we have the Milk Stout Nitro available on after Saturday?
A: YES! May 2nd is the 1st time it will be available in California and we’re one of the special locations chosen to tap it. We ordered as much as we could but once it’s gone we won’t be able to get more until at least June 1st when it becomes available to a wider market.
Q: Are you doing anything to commemorate the launching of Left Hand Brewing and your new nitro tap?
A: YES! We’ll be giving out 20 Left Hand Brewing Nitro glasses; 10 to the first 10 people that order a Milk Stout Nitro when we open today and if you’re more of a later-in-the-day-drinker, we’ll be giving out 10 more to the first 10 people that order a Milk Stout Nitro after 8:00pm tonight!
Q: Will we be showing the fight?
A: No. Our cost to order the fight is over $3,000. (no joke)
Q: Are children allowed in the pub?
A: Unfortunately, no. It is a legal requirement that you must be 21 or older to be in the pub.
Q: Will you be showing the Kentucky Derby?
Q: Will you showing the NHL playoff games?
A: Yes!! (we really like hockey)
Q: Do you have food?
A: No, but you are welcome to bring in anything you like. Normally our neighbors at the Hidden Cafe are open late on Saturday, but they will be closing at their regular closing time of 2:00pm. You can get sandwiches made at the Village Greens Market next door to us, order a pizza for delivery, or bring in anything else you may want.
Hope that helps, and hope to see you soon!
