October is over, November is here, and we have some special stuff for the first Monday of the month!
We are again open on Mondays (11:30-10:00) and starting with today we’ll be doing a weekly Monday Mystery beer on tap! What’s a Mystery beer? Each week we’ll tap a beer, let you know the style, the Alcohol By Volume (ABV), and the International Bittering Units (IBU) if we know it, and we’ll sell it at a special reduced price. What’s the catch? We won’t tell you the name of the beer or who brews it! You’ll have to wait until the next day to see the update on our website, our Facebook page, and our Twitter feed!
Our first Monday Mystery is an American Amber with honey from a Southern California brewery! Stop in for a pint at its special price today and learn its identity on Tuesday!
And don’t worry if you didn’t hear about this in time. We’ll still be doing a Tuesday Mystery this week until the news gets out there. (Yes, a different mystery on Tuesday.)
Stone Enjoy After 10.31.15
About a year ago we purchased some of Enjoy After 10.31.15 from Stone Brewing. Unlike their well know Enjoy By beers, Enjoy After was brewed with the intention that it be cellared for a year and not opened until yesterday. Today, we pulled the bottles from our 60 degree cellar and put them into the bottle fridge at the Couch. Now ready for your comsuption, this IPA (yes, its a year+ old IPA) is spiked with Brettanomyces; a wild yeast that when given time produces unpredictable spice, funk, acidity, and more.
We have a limited number of these 750ml bottles of a Brett IPA available, so stop in soon and pop one open to see if this experiment worked out well!
please remember that all alcohol must be consumed on premises and bottles are not available to go
