Monday Mystery Reveal
Yesterday’s #MysteryBeer is brewed in LA County, but not in the city which is becoming a mecca of craft brewers and enthusiasts. Brewed about a 90 minute drive from us in Lancaster, Potential Blonde is a Kölsch style beer from Kinetic Brewing. This style is a clean, crisp, delicately-balanced beer usually with very subtle fruit and hop character. Subdued maltiness throughout leads into a refreshing finish. Come in for a pint or bring your friends and share a pitcher!
Tuesday Mystery – Prepping for Rye Beer Day
This Thursday, November 12th, we’ll be hosting a #RyeBeerDay, featuring several different variations of Rye based brews. In anticipation of the day we’re tapping one for our final Tuesday Mystery Beer that we haven’t tapped before. (Yes, this is it. We’re shifting our #MysteryBeer to Mondays from here on out. We hope you’ll approve.) In addition to it being a new beer, it’s also the highest ABV of any MysteryBeer we’ve tapped before.
Rye is a very flavorful grain that is more often associated with whiskey than with ales. This rye ale gains additional flavors mellowing in the warmth of charred oak rye whiskey casks. Two kinds of malted rye provide spicy sweetness before handing your palate off to notes of caramelized wood and a citrusy hop tang.
Stop in today to find out the ABV, and to of course grab a discounted 4oz pour of this beer before our Rye Beer Day event later this week!
LA Kings vs Arizona Coyotes
Also tonight, starting at 7:30, our LA Kings host the Arizona Coyotes. Stop in during the game for 10% off all drafts and cheer on the Kings!
