Mystery Beer for Monday, December 21
We received a very special keg, of a very special stout, and we we’ve been trying to decide on when it should get tapped. Since it’s Christmas Week we decided to give you all a little gift and tap it as our Christmas Week Monday #MysteryBeer! You can think of it as a reward for being one of our followers and being able to find out about it, but we’re going to think of it as a way to share something special with our fans.
This week’s #MysteryBeer is a Stout Aged in Bourbon Barrels. The brewery has been brewing since 1992 and is NOT local. (They’re not even in this state!) The keg indicates the abv is at 13.7% but their website indicates something just a bit higher. Because this is a very special keg, we may not be leaving it on tap all week, but it will be back on Christmas Eve & New Year’s Eve to help kick-off the holidays!
What’s a Mystery Beer?
Each week we’ll tap a beer, let you know the style, the Alcohol content By Volume (ABV), and the International Bittering Units (IBU) if we know them, and we’ll sell it at a special reduced price. What’s the catch? We won’t tell you the name of the beer or who brews it! You’ll have to wait until the next day to see the update on our website, our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram! Cheers, and enjoy the Mystery!
