Last week’s #MysteryBeer was SnapShot; a tart, unfiltered wheat beer from New Belgium Brewing. This week’s #MysteryBeer is another sour!
The #MysteryBeer this week is a gose. What’s a gose? It’s an unfiltered wheat beer made with 50-60% malted wheat, has a cloudy yellow lemonade-like color and provides a refreshing crispness and twang. The style has low hop bitterness but is typically dry. You’ll also notice a slight sharpness from the addition of salt which is a traditional ingredient. This one has a slight touch of fruit added by the brewer as well.
The #MysteryBeer is joining 3 other sours already on tap: Batch #1731, a wild, sour, hoppy ale from Bruery Terreux; No Soul, a sour red from TapIt Brewing; and SnapShot.
Come by Tuesday for a pour of the #MysteryBeer – and then build yourself a flight of all 4 sours – then learn it’s identity on Wednesday!
