Join us Thursday, November 10th for a side-by-side Tap Takeover featuring great craft beers from two great breweries: Ska Brewing from Durango, CO and Mother Earth Brew Co. from Vista, CA. We’ll have kegs from them both tapped all day. From 6:00-9:00 we’ll have reps from both breweries on hand helping us with some special bottle pours, beer blends, along with some swag and beer knowledge to share!

The beer lineup includes…

From Ska Brewing
Mole Stout
Inspired by the Mexican and New Mexican cuisine of Ska’s Southern Colorado location, the Autumnal Molé Stout is brewed with cocoa nibs, spices and three varieties of chile peppers: Ancho, Guajillo and Hatch green chiles (also known as Anaheim peppers.)
Modus Mandarina IPA
A unique twist on Modus Hoperandi, this citrus IPA is dry-hopped with a generous portion of Mandarina Bavaria hops and brewed with sweet orange peels.
Pils World Craft Lager
Lends a light malt backbone to a moderately bitter hop presence transitioning to a lemony, orange zest and finishing with a touch of tropical fruit.
Cru D'Tat
bottles and small pours available
Belgian-style Strong/Specialty Ale aged in Red Wine Oak Barrels for 2 years.
From Mother Earth Brew Co.
Roundabout Oatmeal Stout
Roundabout Chocolate Oatmeal Stout is thick and creamy with a head that lasts through the end of the pint. Using dark Belgian malts, which tend to be much softer than U.S. or U.K. versions, we created an opaque beer with very sessionable qualities, making this brew a fan favorite…even for the "light-beer" lovers!
Hop Diggity Double IPA
Our most popular Double IPA is a hop head’s dream come true. Utilizing a bit of caramel and honey malt to create a delicate and very subtle sweetness, this is an amazingly balanced beer considering its hop-forward nature. We selected a neutral yeast strain to ensure nothing interferes with the intense tropical juiciness of this choice mix of citrus hops. Dry, drinkable, and dangerous.
Cali Creamin Vanilla Cream Ale
Our flagship offering is golden to pale in color, with low bitterness, medium body, and a white head. Our Cream Ale has redefined the category and made a classic style cool again. We use a bit of Madagascar Vanilla Bean to give it that "Cream Soda" kick. This beer finishes dry despite a subtle perceived sweetness from the Vanilla. Great any time of year.
Sin Tax Imperial Peanut Butter Stout
bottles and small pours available
Don’t let it fool you. This is an imperial stout first and foremost. Deep dark malts lend espresso notes and British crystal malts contribute the perfect toffee and caramel flavor. Despite the dry finish there is a wonderful molasses character compliments of brown cane sugar, and just enough residual sugar to finish full-bodied but never cloying. The peanut butter is simply featured to augment what is already there…a fantastic example of a legendary beer style.
Update for Thursday morning, a last minute addition pouring from the bottle…
Four Seasons of Mother Earth – Summer
In the true tradition of the style, our Golden is crisp, dry and use Belgian Ale yeast to highlight the subtleties of the traditionally fruity yeast profile. At straw-blond in its original color, it is surprisingly light despite its strength, but stands out because of its balance. Simplicity in its design is key in order to allow the yeast too to take center stage.

Fully fermented, it has been laid to rest in red wine casks to take up the fruit character of the wine and to and to work with the wood tannins to create a depth of flavor to be enjoyed note, or after additional time in the bottle.

You’ll need some tasty grub to go with all that tasty beer so starting at 6:00 we’re teaming up with our friends at the Hidden Cafe to serve you some tasty pub grub!

At 4:30 we’ll be watching our LA Kings as they visit the Montreal Canadiens with 10% off all drafts during the game.

Join us for an evening of great beers with great people and great food!
