Tuesday #MysteryBeer Reveal

With yesterday’s Mystery Beer we gave you a sneak peek at tomorrow’s Tap Takeover. The crisp & clean pilsner that you were enjoying is Pils World Craft Lager from Ska Brewing. This refreshingly light lager was enjoyed more than once by almost everyone who joined us in hiding out from the news yesterday. But there’s still enough left for us all to enjoy during Tomorrow’s Tap Takeover with both Ska and Mother Earth Brew Co.!

Special Taps for Today

You helped to empty two kegs yesterday; Anthem Pear Cider from Wandering Angus Ciderworks (we still have bottles!) and Figtoberfest from Figueroa Mountain Brewing. To replace one of them today we’re tapping The Intern from Libertine Brewing

7.0%     Sour/Wild Ale
We took our Wild IPA and loaded it up with fresh, local passion fruit from our friends at Stepladder Ranch in Cambria. All the bitter funkiness of our Brett IPA with a tropical fruit tang.

Replacing the other is a short-term (today only!) keg to fill the empty space until tomorrow’s Tap Takeover: Rumpkin (2016) from Avery Brewing:

17.5%     Rum Barrel-Aged Pumpkin Ale
Brewed with pumpkin, with spices added, and aged in rum barrels. We wondered what would happen if a monstrous pumpkin ale, plump full of spicy gourdiness, were aged in fine fresh rum barrels to add suggestions of delicate oak and candied molasses. Rumpkin is what happens!
